Artwork Specifications

Graphics for vinyl banners, business cards, yard signs, magnets and other orders with custom artwork, please review the following artwork specifications.

If you have questions about your artwork file, or you'd like us to check the quality before you place your order, please email the artwork to signsandbanners.co@gmail.com along with your order information.

Acceptable Files for Printing

• EPS (Encapsulated Post Script)
• PDF (Adobe PDF)
• PSD (Adobe Photoshop)
• JPG (High Resolution JPEG)
• TIFF (High Resolution TIFF)

Vector Files

Vector files are line art, scalable to any size without losing resolution - the image will stay clean and crisp.

• EPS (CS5 or lower)
• PDF

If submitting these files be sure you have converted all fonts to outlines or curves. Vector files can be submitted at any size proportionate to the banner size ordered.

Raster Files / Images

Raster files & images are pixel based images, and depending on the resolution the image becomes blurry as enlarged.

• TIFF

If submitting these files, please follow the guidelines below:

• 100% scale (full size output) at 100 dpi
• 50% scale at 200 dpi or higher
• 25% scale at 300 dpi or higher
• 10% scale at 600-1200 dpi recommended

Thumbnail sized jpg and gif. files are not at a high enough resolution to be used on large prints like banners.

Vectorizing / Recreating Images

If you are not able to provide us with a good quality image, we do have a vectorizing/recreating service available. Most images can be recreated; however images with more detail are subject to quoting prior to vectorizing the image. Please contact us for more details.

This service needs to be paid for in advance and we will release a copy of your vectorized artwork to you for a fee.

File Tips

• No bleeds are necessary (unless ordering a banner stand that requires one)
• Set up size proportionate to the size banner you are ordering.
• To prevent any text or important images from falling on the hemline or interrupted by a grommet, you will want to keep them at least 2" away from the edge. 
• Convert all text to outlines. Convert all text to outlines.

Banner Sizes:

Exact sizes cannot be guaranteed as banners can fluctuate up to 1/2" per linear foot. Example: Finished size of a 12' (144") banner can be up to 6" short.

All products can have a variation in color from screen to printing.

SHIPPING

No returns or refunds will be given, shipping company delays are not our responsibility. Signs and Banners LLC will ship your order on the date specified. If you are on a deadline, please note that on your order and we will do our best, as delivery dates are only estimated and not guaranteed. Please note that weekends and holidays are not counted as business days, and the day it leaves our production facility is not counted in the number of days. In all cases and without exception, shipping costs are non-refundable.

Customers agree to be responsible for additional charges from the shipping carrier for unclaimed or undeliverable packages. Your tracking number will be emailed to you once the order has shipped. 

If your package arrives damaged and your product is unusable, photographs will be required. In the meantime, we will deal with Fed Ex and will reprint the damaged portion of the order within standard production time and ship it to you at no cost to you.

We suggest keeping the defective goods and the damaged packaging in your possession for 5 to 8 business days after reporting the damage, as Fed Ex may retrieve them as part of their investigation.

CLOSING

Since nearly every order we process is customized to your specifications, issues that arise may also be unique. If you are not satisfied with your order in any way, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will work with you in each case to do what we can to make it right.

RETURNS

Returns must be approved by Signs and Banners LLC, and the following points refer to Custom Items only. If a product is found defective by Signs and Banners LLC, a new one will be created and shipped. Refunds will proceed as described in “REFUNDS.” Please keep in mind:

• No returns or refunds due to typos or misspellings in Customer supplied files.
• No returns or refunds due to alterations of signs after delivery (i.e. cutting vented wind slits) that cause premature deterioration of product.
• No returns or refunds due to improper installation which causes deterioration of product. Simply tying the banner from the 4 corners is not recommended and will void all warranties. Signs and Banners LLC cannot accept any responsibility for damage to banners due to improper installation or acts of nature, including but not limited to extreme cold/heat, rain, wind, sleet, ice, hail, and snow.
• No returns or refunds for any order that arrives after Customer’s deadline, as long as Signs and Banners LLC fulfilled order within stated production time and shipped as per Customer’s request. 
• If the order is not opened within the allotted 5 business days after delivery, and there is a defect or any other issue found with the product, Signs and Banners LLC will not be responsible for any expedited shipping fees to meet a deadline.
• Returns accepted if Signs and Banners LLC has made a mistake after approval from the Customer. Signs and Banners LLC will provide a shipping label to return the product, and a new product will be made and shipped.

REFUNDS

If you receive merchandise that is defective or damaged upon receipt, please notify us within 72 hours of receiving your product. Photographs will be required of the damaged or defective product. If it is determined Signs and Banners LLC is at fault, reprint the job, and ship it back. You will only be charged for the initial order and no additional shipping charges. If you can only send back a partial order, we will only reprint the portion returned. We do not issue credits or refunds.

Signs and Banners LLC Terms of Service

Please read the entirety of the terms and conditions mindfully, do not assume anything. By utilizing Signs and Banners LLC via internet (this website and/or e-mail), telephone (speaking to someone or via messages), or in person, or otherwise, you are agreeing to be bound by the following. Signs and Banners LLC reserves the right to make, add, delete, or otherwise modify the terms & conditions at any time and in its sole discretion. If you are not willing to abide by any of the statements in the terms and conditions please do not use any aspect of the information or services provided by Signs and Banners LLC.

COPYRIGHT RELEASE:

By using any service of Signs and Banners LLC, the Customer agrees and acknowledges that the Customer is the legal owner and/or licensee of ALL submitted artwork to Signs and Banners LLC. The customer also relinquishes Signs and Banners LLC of any legal liability related to copyright violation and/or infringement. The customer assumes sole responsibility and liability of ALL forms of submitted artwork to Signs and Banners LLC. The Customer will retain ownership of the content uploaded or sent to Signs and Banners LLC.

COPYRIGHTS:

The Customer warrants that the subject matter to be printed is not copyrighted by a third party. The Customer also agrees not to infringe on trademarks, patents, trade secrets, the right of privacy, the right of publicity or other legal right of any third party and will comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. The customer recognizes that because subject matter does not have to bear a copyright notice in order to be protected by copyright law, absence of such notice does not necessarily assure a right to reproduce. The customer further warrants that no copyright notice has been removed from any material used in preparing the subject matter for reproduction. To support these warranties, the customer agrees to indemnify and hold Signs and Banners LLC harmless for all liability, damages, and attorney fees that may be incurred in any legal action connected with copyright infringement involving the work produced or provided. 

SUBMISSIONS:

When you submit questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, or other material via e-mail or other communications, you grant Signs and Banners LLC permission to use such submissions for marketing and other promotional purposes. You agree that Signs and Banners LLC will have no obligation to keep any submissions confidential. You will not bring a claim against Signs and Banners LLC based on "moral rights" or the likes arising from Signs and Banners LLC use of a submission. This section does not apply to your content that will appear as part of your product that you use in connection with any Signs and Banners LLC service.

Signs and Banners LLC PROVIDES SERVICES ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. Signs and Banners LLC DOES NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE, SERVICE, OR ITS USE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, WILL BE FREE OF INACCURACIES OR ERRORS, WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, OR WILL OPERATE IN THE CONFIGURATION OR WITH THE HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE YOU USE. Signs and Banners LLC will not be liable to you or any third party for any consequential, incidental, indirect, punitive or special damages (including damages relating to lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill) arising out of, relating to, or connected with the use of the Signs and Banners LLC service, based on any cause of action, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Limitation of liability: except for a break of a party's representations and warranties under these terms & conditions or in connection with your indemnity obligations under these terms & conditions, in no event will the liability of Banners.com exceed the value of products received or services rendered. The value of products or services are limited to the stated value on the Signs and Banners LLC website or as stated by an authorized Banners.com agent.

LIABILITY:

Disclaimer of Express Warranties: Signs and Banners LLC warrants that the work is as described in the purchase order. The Customer understands that the work shown in a proof when approved is what will be printed and acknowledges the difference in appearance on-screen when color is represented. Signs and Banners LLC will not be held liable under any circumstance for problems resulting from files provided by the Customer (this includes color shifting and issues arising from improper file preparations.

If the Customer finds a production error or manufacturing defect in the item(s) he/she received from Signs and Banners LLC, Signs and Banners LLC will replace the item(s) at no charge. Original shipping charges are not refundable. ALL CLAIMS MUST BE INITIATED WITHIN 48 HOURS AFTER DELIVERY OF PRODUCT.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

In no event will Signs and Banners LLC or its suppliers be liable for any indirect, special, consequential, or incidental damages, including, without limitation lost profits or revenues, costs of replacement goods, loss or damage to data arising out of the use or inability to use this website or any Signs and Banners LLC product, damages resulting from the use or reliance on the information provided in this website, even if Signs and Banners LLC or its suppliers have been advised on the possibility of such damages.
